Thank you for joining the CCBB! We're excited to count you in and to organise great events with you. Please go through the following checklist to complete your adhesion to the committee.

  • Make sure you paid the voluntary contribution to VSETH (10 CHF). This is mandatory in order to be part of CCBB, VIS or any student committee at ETH.
  • To do so, click on the respective field when enrolling for the semester in myStudies.

  • Make sure you're added to the # ccbb_general Slack channel.
    • This is the channel used for general information related to the CCBB.
    • Every communication between CCBB members should be done through Slack.
    • Additional channels are created for the organisation of specific events.
    • It is important that you check the communication shared on Slack daily.
  • Make sure you can access the VIS Slack workspace.
    • Go to the VIS intern website and then look for the link to Slack.
    • This is where you can communicate with the rest of VIS.
  • Make sure you have access to the CCBB shared drive.
    • Use your designated account (username@gsuite.vseth.ch) to access the drive. Detailed information about GSuite accounts provided by VSETH can be found here.
    • You can find the minutes from previous committe meetings there.
    • Every document you used to organise an event must be stored there.
    • You can consult previous year documents to see was done in the past. Some documents can be used as template to organise your event. Also, written feedbacks from past organisers give an idea of what worked and what did not.
  • Make sure you get a VIS email address (username@vis.ethz.ch) and that you can access it.
    • This email address should be used for every communication with people outside of the CCBB.
    • This is where you'll get answers related to events you organised and advertised on the VIS Eventmanager.
    • This is where you'll get question from prospective students and everyone who send an email to ccbb@vis.ethz.cd.
  • Go through the steps described in the "New to VIS" page. Take a look at Pablo Vargas wiki page as an exemple for your own page.
  • Make sure you have access to the VIS intern website.
    • This website gathers useful links to different tools you'll used, for instance the VIS Eventmanager which you have to use to advertise events on the VIS website.

Should you run into any trouble with one of the platforms described above, please contact the CCBB president through Slack.

Should you run into any trouble/issue with the CCBB president at any point in your board member's career, you can contact the Götti directly.
