 #  courses_and_co

Naming conventions

It is good practice to have a large number of channels. This ensures that information is spread very fine grained. Thus, we encourage you to create your own channels in the CBB workspace. In order to keep the channels organized, we ask you to stick to the following conventions:

  • Every channel should start with a three letter prefix followed by an underscore. The prefix assigns the channel to a topic area. You can find a selection of prefixes in the table below. If you cannot assign your channel to one of the prefixes, discuss the matter with a CCBB board member, we are open to add another prefix to the list.

  • After the prefix, you can add whatever name fits your purpose the most. Since channels are only in lower case and cannot contain spaces, we recommend separating words by a dash ("-").
